Another day at the Shelter! New dogs, sick dogs and happy dogs!

One little puppy died today of Parvo. Thats so sad, he was so sick and we took him to the vet and he got medication, but it didn't help. He was almost dead when we got there the next morning so we just have to give him a shot and put him to sleep. Thats so hard, poor little pup!

But we have a lot of nice stories as well! Today someone was crying outside our shelter door. I looked out and there was a dobberman pup, so thin and tired and all full of ticks. I took her in and gave her a bath with teramite to kill all the ticks, after that we picked ticks for about an hour. She was then really tired so we gave her a place with food and water so she could sleep and get her strength back.

Here is a picture of Scrappy, as you can see his skin is getting much better! He is now a happy pup with so much love to give! He is looking for a new home!

Hi, I'm also looking for a new home. 2 days ago I was really sick and had to see the vet but now I'm all better again and I'm ready to move home to someone that can love me!

These guys are siblings and where abandoned about two weeks ago. We are soft and cute and are now looking for new homes.

This is right now the smallest person at the Shelter! We call him little kiss-face beacause his face is so kissable, you just can't stop giving him kisses! He miss his mother a lot so we give him all the love we can but he needs a new home as soon as possible!


He looks a little bit tougher in this picture, he is a fighter thats for sure!
